Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani Holy Quran Contest Registration Begins Tuesday

Doha, October 03 (QNA) – The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that the registration for the 23rd Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani Holy Quran contest will begin on Tuesday through Thursday, October 15th.

The contest, in third year, is open to citizens and expatriates, males and females. People may register from 8am to 12.30pm and 4pm to 8pm at Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Hall in Freej Kleeb. Participants will compete in memorization of one of the last five parts of the Holy Quran.

The contest organizing committee said that that the contestants signup process can be completed in the presence of the competitor or their representatives and those who participated in previous contests can sign up via telephone. Participants will receive text messages stating the completion of the registration process and their registration reference number in addition to the memorization category and other details.
