Ooredoo has announced that it is running a competition for Qatar University (QU) to find the advertising talent of Qatar’s future.
Students at QU’s College of Business and Economics (CBE) are invited to form teams of five to enter the competition, in which they will need to create and present a complete end-to-end advertising campaign to excite Qatar’s citizens and residents about Ooredoo’s 5G network, the company has said in a statement.
The competition is running in the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.
The teams will need to show judges a comprehensive advertising campaign, from the brainstorming, strategy and planning stages to development, execution and review, and there will be prizes on offer for the best campaigns, the statement notes.
Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director of PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo, said: “We’re committed to fostering and nurturing the talent of Qatar’s stars of the future, and to engaging with our next generation of leaders while they’re learning and gaining the experience required to succeed.
“We see this competition as an exciting opportunity to uncover the talents of Qatar University students, and we’re looking forward to seeing how they’d present our awesome 5G network to our customers in Qatar!”
