The two leaders vowed to crackdown on Iran’s military capabilities and pledged to prevent Iran from making nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, Iran has reached out to Russian President Vladimir Putin and purchased the SU-35 fighter jets from Russia. Two aircraft have already been delivered and another 48 will be delivered soon. Meanwhile, Iran also unveiled new weapons sysems including the Shahed 149 “Gaza” drone, the Ghadr-380 anti-ship missile and the Medium Range Ballistic Missile, the Etemad. Iran also carried out large-scale military exercise and live-fire drills as Trump and Netanyahu threatened to “obliterate” Iran.
