An Arab man and his wife have reportedly received serious burns all over their bodies after their disobedient son set them on fire.
The central operations room of the RAK Police, having been alerted about the accident, immediately dispatched ambulances and paramedics to the site in a record time.
The man and his wife who endured 90 to 100 per cent burns, were rushed to the Saqr hospital for treatment and medical care.
Informed sources told Khaleej Times that the crime took place on Sunday morning around 6:30am.
“The suspect was fighting with his brother early in the morning, stabbed him, following which he set his parents on fire when they tried to stop him from hurting his brother.”
Khaleej Times approached the RAK police for official comment. They affirmed the crime, but said that “investigations are underway, and we will update you shortly.
