Thani bin Hamad attends Orbis’ceremony in UK QNA Doha COMMISSIONED by the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani in response to the invitation of Princess Sophie Countess of Wessex and global ambassador of Orbis for saving sight, HE Sheikh Thani bin Hamad al Thani attended a ceremony held in celebration of the completion of the first phase of Qatar Creating Vision initiative that is carried out in partnership between Qatar Fund for Development and Orbis. The ceremony, which was held in St James’s Palace in London, saw a presentation on the initiative’s achievements over the past four years. It also included a presentation on the role of the organisation in treating eye diseases and saving eyesight all over the world. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UK HE Yousef Ali al Khater, Ambassador of the UK to Qatar HE Ajay Sharma and a number of the organisation’s members and guests.
