Qatar’s e-government portal “Hukoomi Qatar” said on its Twitter account that all types of seedlings, flowers, ornamental trees, fruit and non-fruit trees and shrubs can be purchased, with the possibility of delivering the request through the “Agricultural Seedlings Purchase” Request service.
The website of “Hukoomi Qatar” clarified the details of the service provided by the airport nursery, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Municipality, to citizens and farm owners through the ministry’s website, which provides a detailed description of each seedling offered for sale.

The steps for submitting the application electronically are: searching for available seedlings and adding what is selected to the purchase list, then clicking on “continue purchases”, reviewing the selected seedlings, then pressing “complete data”.
Then, the applicant’s data should be filled out, and payment should be made by credit card or upon receipt to complete the purchase process, and then print the payment receipt.
The following documents must also be submitted to receive the seedlings: For citizens: the purchaser’s ID card, and for farm owners: a copy of the possession certificate or farm possession card, and an official letter from the farm owner addressed to the director of the Public Parks Department.
In the event that the application is submitted on paper, one must visit the municipality’s nursery site located in the airport area and select the required seedlings, and then submit the following documents: For citizens: the buyer’s ID card, and for farm owners: a copy of the possession certificate or farm possession card, and an official letter from the farm owner addressed to the manager Public parks management, and then pay the prescribed fees to obtain a receipt for payment and receipt of seedlings.
The Public Parks Department provides a service for the delivery of agricultural seedlings within Doha only, and delivery times are from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The order is delivered to the buyer in the areas located within the borders of Doha Municipality within a range not exceeding 20 km: with a fee of 30 QR, provided that the value of the order is not less than 200 QR.
And by clicking on online payment, you must have a credit card to complete the purchase process, or you can reserve the seedlings and pay when you receive them manually using a bank card only. In both cases, please print and keep the receipt.
Seedlings must be received no later than two days from the date of application. This service can also be obtained through the “Awn” application on the mobile phone.
“Hukoomi Qatar” clarified the prescribed fees, which are as follows: fruit trees: QR 5, shrubs and ornamental trees: QR 2, and four seasonal flowers: QR 1. (i.e. a quarter of a riyal for each flower).
