QFC Authority Issues Paper on Rule Changes
Doha, June 20 (QNA) – The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority Saturday said it has issued a Public Consultation Paper proposing refinements to QFC Arbitration Regulations.
The Authority made changes after reviewing new draft of Qatari Arbitration Law on Civil and Commercial Matters and other rules in leading legal jurisdictions.
These changes aim to promote arbitration as a form of alternative dispute resolution in the QFC.
The paper explains enhanced proposals to the QFC Arbitration Regulations and aims consultations with the business community.
